Events -  Tiny Treasures  



What are Tiny Treasures?

Tiny Treasures are 2 ½” x 3 ½” pieces of completely ORIGINAL art, no thicker than 3/4”, created by artists at least 14 years old. Enter as many pieces as you’d like starting May 1 through July 10 for a chance to win $150 for 1st Place, $125 for 2nd, $100 for 3rd and $10 for best title.  Another 12 Tiny Treasure will be chosen to be in AWA's annual Timely Treasures pocket calendar and each will also receive a $25 award. Tiny Treasures must be of original concept and design.  Please read the following article by Jean Lang, "Original or Copy." 

All Tiny Treasures are exhibited on this website and are available for sale beginning each August.  See the Buy-It-Now section below.  Tiny Treasures are also displayed at the annual State Exhibit from August thru September.  

The 2021 State Conference will be help on Friday and Saturday, September 24 and 25.  AWA plans to host Evening with the Arts on Friday September 24 when Tiny Treasures awards will be presented.  The State Conference will also provide an opportunity to purchase Tiny Treasures for $25 each.

What is the Buy-it-Now fundraiser?

All Tiny Treasures that are available for purchase will be listed below for the Buy-It-Now sale, which begins August 4.   At this point we also plan to have in-person sales at the State Conference.  Purchased Tiny Treasures will be matted and can be either mailed to you or picked up at the State Conference.   Look for the sale in August!
