The Association of Wisconsin Artists (AWA), formerly named WRAA, is a non-profit membership organization begun in 1954. Our mission is to inspire, educate and promote artists and their communities. We do so by promoting art programs, workshops, and providing recognition for our members.
AWA has always supported the Wisconsin Regional Art Program (WRAP), which encourages the creative growth of non-professional artists. In 2020, AWA took on management of WRAP entirely. Bridging Generations, Statewide Teen Art Mentor Program (STAMP), Tiny Treasures, and enhanced publications were added after 2004.
